This sign is distinguished by being our first official job as Cape Craft Signs!
It's further remarkable for two more reasons...
One, it is the first job that we received totally from the internet.
We were found from an internet search for signmakers in the New
England area. All the designing was done via e-mail and telephone, and the job was accepted, fabricated and delivered 150 miles away, all without meeting the buyer!
Two, it is exactly the type of
sign we are most interested in doing - It's carved, it's gilded. it's strikingly different from any other sign anywhere near it, and the buyer was open to, and appreciative of our design ideas.
To
top it off, when they finally saw the finished product, it surpassed their expectations. They get tons of praise from their neighbors and customers, and their little produce stand has become a town landmark.
That's just about as perfect as it gets for us!
